If you’re in search of a new favorite summer snack, or need a simple, crowd-pleasing side to take to the next family BBQ, look no further than this five ingredient (and easily customizable) summer bruschetta!
A few years back, I remember scrolling through Instagram and seeing someone post this (I wish I could remember who!) the night before a family gathering. I made it the next day and it was practically all gone before I was able to set it on the table — trust me, it goes fast!
There are plenty of ways you could spice this up a bit – by add some salt and pepper, red pepper flakes, chopped jalapeño, or cilantro. But I rarely stray from the five ingredients below!
Easy Summer Bruschetta Bites
Ingredients
- French Baguette or Italian Bread
- Guacamole
- Grape Tomatoes, halved
- BBQ Sauce
- Lime Juice
Directions
- Slice the bread into thin, bite-size pieces. I don’t toast the bread beforehand, but you definitely can if you prefer a toastier base!
- Top with guacamole, grape tomatoes, a drizzle of BBQ sauce, and a squirt of lime juice.
- That’s it. You’re done!
These can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for a few hours, but I’d recommend making them shortly before serving, if possible!
