It’s hard to get motivated to spend quality time in the kitchen in the summer months. It’s just so much more tempting to spend time outside, doing other things (or dining al fresco at a favorite restaurant!)
All of that is good and well, but if you’re looking to save a little money and enjoy a few fresh, healthy, quick-to-make homemade meals – without having to run out and get the ingredients – then a meal delivery service is a great option to consider.
A few weeks ago, I shared a bit about our HelloFresh experience. If you decide to give HelloFresh a try, don’t forget to use my code for $40 off your first order!
WANT FREE FOOD?! If you’re very serious about trying it, I’ll give the first four readers who comment on this post a coupon to receive their first box (that’s six meals!) for FREE!
I also wanted to share one of our favorite HelloFresh recipes so far – their yellow squash flatbreads.
These flatbreads are topped with squash, scallions, toasted pine nuts, mozzarella, a sprinkle of chili flakes, and a drizzle of honey.
Served with a light side salad and a refreshing glass of chilled white wine, these flatbreads are a little spicy and a hint of sweet, a perfect summertime supper staple!
All of HelloFresh’s recipes are archived over on their site, and you can find the recipe for these savory flatbreads by clicking right here.
