Exactly one month from now, we’ll be hitting the road for North Carolina to attend my brother’s graduation from Duke University!
We’re getting all sorts of excited as the trip gets closer. Neither of us have been to the Carolinas before, so it’s brand new travel territory for us. Zen and Jessie have lived in Durham for two years and have had nothing but good things to say about the region. We can’t wait to explore the city that they’ve come to call home!
After we leave Durham, we’ll be making quick stops in Chapel Hill, Charlotte, and Asheville before heading home. We’ve jotted down a few places we’d like to visit on our road-trip through the Tar Heel State, but, as always, we’re very open to any suggestions you may have! I’ve been dreaming for years about a slow and leisurely drive down Blue Ridge Parkway, but in order to do that right, we might have to plan another trip altogether. We’ll see!
