I struggled for years with my “final” vision for our bedroom, and it was one of the last rooms in our home to get a makeover (aside from our basement)—nearly four years after moving in! • Gets softer with each wash. I’m used to sheets gradually looking worse after each wash, but linen actually gets softer and softer without looking any different! Keep in mind that washing them in cold water and drying on low heat is important. I also occasionally line dry ours when the weather is cooperative!
• Looks perfectly “undone.” I love, love, love the fact that there’s a slight natural wrinkle to linen. I was always worried about smoothing down other sheets so they looked super crisp, but I’m a much bigger fan of the imperfect “lived-in” look of linen sheets!
